ANS is the editor of Plots with Guns and someone every crime writer should know about. He has the respect of writers he works with, and walks the walk by regularly delivering his own brand of crime manuscript to his publishers. His latest is Hogdoggin’ pictured here. Order it on Amazon and tell your friends.  I think his next one should be non-fiction manual for writers on how to advance their careers. What do you think?

  1. Frank Bill, the man with two last names? I’ve heard Peter David use that line. I’ve never submitted anything to Frank but I need to do so. I’ve heard only good things about him.

  2. You mean submit to Anthony, right? If you haven’t you should. Word has it he is an excellent editor with a fine eye for detail. He’s made a sterling reputation via hard work, hard work and a touch more of hard work.

  3. Neil is very easy going. A wonder king of an editor. He helped me tone done my work. Tighten my writing into the fine tuned structure that it is. Helped me to see less is more and that every word counts. I owe the man my first couple of book advances at least. His new book will blow your brains across whatever is behind you when you read it. Think Small Crimes only a bit harsher with a literary slant to the hardboiled. A real page turner.

  4. He’s simply one of the best and all around nice guys. And I’m not just saying that because he gave me an award for the OOTG contest… But it helps.
