Filed under: Uncategorized — ashedit @ 2:06 pm

For writers in or around

New York,

New Orleans

San Francisco

A FULL DAY OF INSTRUCTION FOR $50. BY MWA INSTRUCTORS!!!

They’re calling it a “labor of love” for members and non-members.

New York City – Saturday, August 13

New Orleans – Saturday, October 1

San Francisco – Saturday, October 15

The classes include instruction on the process of developing an idea into a novel, setting, plotting, character, and editing.
The six innovative sessions offered at each University day are not your grandma’s writing classes. New and original techniques are employed to make the best use of the time.

The goal of MWA University is not to make money. It’s a way for the organization to give back to the mystery community.  There are many wonderful  mystery conferences offering workshops to aspiring mystery writers, but they can be costly.

MWA University offers six hours of college level writing instruction with top-notch instructors, for the nominal fee of $50 to members and non-members.

  2. Yes, that’s in your vicinity, I think. The press release didn’t mention the instructors’ names, but perhaps that will be released as time draws nearer. It’s a chance to meet some interesting and accomplished people.
